Case Dismissed

February 14, 2018

CASE DISMISSED. In February 2017 our client was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in Outagamie County. In June of 2017 our office was retained to assist in the matter as our client was convinced he was treated in a manner inconsistent with his constitutional rights. After procedural hearings and conducting an investigation into what happened, our office filed a Motion challenging the search and seizure of our client. In October the first hearing was conducted where we questioned the officer making the arrest and the methods he deployed in doing so. In December we submitted a brief in support to the Judge, and in January the State of Wisconsin responded. The case was set for decision in early January of 2018, however the Judge asked for supplemental briefing at that time. The Defense submitted its supplement to chambers and on the same date the State moved to dismiss all charges against our client. Well done Attorneys Carroll and Fredrickson.
